Mesmerizing Playfulness

A painting I created for the Kindred Fates' "Art" Art Contest, using a 3D render as a base & based on a scene from the Disney film "Bambi". I'm not much of a painter myself, so instead I created a composition using several free assets & modified 3D models based on the original models found in the Kindred Fates Closed Alpha Battle Arena. Afterwards, I went through photoshop and, with several filters & layers using the "underpainting" technique, I finally created the result shown. I consider this rather an exercise in composition, lighting & underpainting skills, of which I'm really proud.

Edit: I won the contest with this one, so now it is official art that will appear in the game! I'm thrilled! Thank you for this opportunity.
